They met November 1, 1997 on America Online. Who knew a simple Instant Message could turn into something so wonderful. Chris knew right from the start that they were a perfect match. He just had to convince Lynnette.
They started talking about getting married in May of 1998. Chris gave Lynnette an engagement ring in July of 1998 but did not formally propose. (He said "It seems like we are already married, so maybe we SHOULD get married.") She wanted a formal proposal and kept threatening to give the ring back. Secretly he hoped that she really would.
Chris works in Receiving as well as being a machine operator at his place of employment. His hobbies include collecting comics, playing video games, and listening to music.
Lynnette is a Trauma Data Specialist . She has an Associates Degree in Sociology and an Associates degree in Health Information Technology, as well as being a member of Psi Beta, a national honor society. She is currently furthering her education, working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management.
In November/December of 1998 they went on vacation to Orlando (Disney) and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He waited until they were on a moon-lit beach in Ft. Lauderdale. It was very romantic. They did not set a wedding date right away.
